Hello. I am new to Virtual DJ and was wondering if I buy a karaoke disc from a store (CD+G) how do I get the disc to play on Virtual DJ 7? Do I have to convert the CD+G after downloading it to my computer? Thanks for your help.

Couple of important points here.
As a home user you I don't think you will be able run karaoke full screen , only windowed.
You also need to check that your cd/dvd rom drive will actually read cd&g discs , not all do, if your cd rom does read the tracks they are probably better ripped and stored on your hard disc with the rest of your music.
One option , if want to have a play around without spending too much - there are sites out there were you can buy individual karaoke tracks, starting from less than £1

There are a few softwares out that will rip a CD+G to MP3+G. MP3GToolz was what I used.
However, most CD+G suppliers do not license the tacks to be stored on a hard drive. There have been a lot of law suits behind it.
Now there are hosting sites (pools) that you can legally obtain files from. Also, VDJ is partnered with a host that allows you to download directly in the software. It is the Karaoke Content Unlimited subscription.
Page 44 of the User Guide talks about the Karoke features in VDJ8
Page 55 talks about Content Unlimited.
