Topic: Can not close VDJ

Since build 2857, VDj can no longer close. I take the task manager to close.

you probably have ShopDemoMode set to YES.

when you have VDJ closed, edit your XML file and search for DEMO

<shopDemoMode>no</shopDemoMode>


it should be like that.
 
In the settings, shop demo mode is "no". This is the copy from the settings.xml : <shopDemoMode>no</shopDemoMode>
 
try re-naming your XML file (just for backup) and try it. Then you can put it back.

That's all I got.
 
I've tried. Still the same.
 
Sometimes it's happened to me too, but in rare case: I don't know the combination of action that cause it.

I can reproduce that, using FRUiT's skin if I lock the window I can't close the program.
So maybe you have your window locked in some way

@ raypitman: Sorry doesn't work. My skin is re-condensed. I've tried some other skin locked and unlocked. Still the same problem.
 
do a fresh rein install, save your xml files
 
i wonder if this has anything to do with exclusive audio access
 
2 days ago, I've made an re install. Can I go back to an earlier Build.
exclusiveAudioAccess is "no".
 
What sound interface do you use ?
Anything from M-Audio ?
 
The soundcard from Denon MC 6000. Nothing from M-Audio.
 
See in Audio Midi Setup (in Utilities) if the MC6000 is selected as default sound card for OS. If so, set your computer's built-in sound card as default and test again

I also wonder if there is something wrong with database, so remove (backup) the database.xml from /virtualDJ folder and see if this helps.

Last but not least, check the Permissions of the /VirtualDJ folder
