After a lot of searching and googling, I've found a lot of info on importing the iTunes song ratings into VirtualDJ, but I can not find any info on going the other way.
All of my music is in iTunes and arranged into iTunes Playlists. Then, in VirtualDJ, I have added comments, and rated each song (1-5 stars).
I'd like to find way to copy those ratings and comments into the song's ID3 Tags so that the info would be available when playing the song on any of my apple devices. I have checked my VDJ settings ad ensured that "SetTagsAuto" is turned on, but the rating and comments only exist in VirtualDJ, they are not visible in iTunes.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? I'd hate to end up doing a "stare and compare" of my thousands and thousands of songs to copy the info manually.
I tried using the "Database manager plugin tool" which seems like it might do what I'm looking for, but it only appears to be available for windows. I've been trying to run it in parallels, but no matter when i put my database file, it can't seem to find it.

Try this one:
- change tags in VDJ, e.g. comment
- open ITunes and play this song
tags changed?
ITunes does not recognize changed tags from "outside". So at first check, if the written tags will be recognized by ITunes (ITunes actualize the tags if you play the song).

USE THIS TIPP ON YOUR OWN RISK!!
To get changed tags from VDJ to Itunes:
- Open ITunes
- choose file > add to library
- choose the path of your music ( Try test with one album first)
- ok
Itunes will try to import all your files. If there are no changes of the file-name or path of the song, Itunes will only rescan and actualize your tags.
To import the ratings from outside e.g. VDJ > ITunes
- Make some playlist like "5-Star rated songs" in VDJ and export them as a playlist.
- Open this playlist with Itunes
- Mark all songs of this list
- change the ratings of the songs
...and done. It's a little bit tricky, but works.
Tried on Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.4 / ITunes (Mac) 12.3.3.17 /VDJ Mac 8.1. built2857
