Make sure that you are logged into VirtualDJ and you can see the License under the config.

From what I can see is that you bought a controller licence.
Do you own the corresponding controller to your licence and is the controller connected and on?
If not, I believe it will not "activate" the controller licence version while starting VDJ. Meaning it would still be the Home version which will show you some ads.

As long as you are logged in it knows that you have a license regardless of the controller being connected or not.
