var 'doOnce' 0 ?
set 'var1' '`get_bpm' & set 'doOnce' 1 :
param_cast & set "var2" & get_var 'var2' & param_multiply 2 & param_cast & set "var2" & get_var 'var1' & param_multiply "get_var 'var2'" & param_cast & set 'var'
can't get this one down, I'm trying to actually go a stage further and have 'var' set_bpm,
var = (((var2 = (slider value * 2 )) * ( var1 = bpm [only captured once]))
every way I've tried I can't multiply a var with a var.
Is this possible? I just want to try the script version if I can before trialing a plugin.

Never mind, tried a round about way [was trying to see how an captured echo loop sounds with the pitch changed and it sounds nasty]
