This is something new for me I thought I`d try for my punters a little bit different, I do & have used VDJ for many years I very rarely ask for help as this thread shows not everyone knows everything about the Software or my problem would of been answered, we all have our own way of using it. Thanks For All Your Help.

You indeed have to add a record input to the vdj audio config.
Normally this option will be available from the record tab in options when you are using an external mixer, but in this case you are outputting only one master channel to the mixer, so in that case you have to add it manually.
In the Audio tab, click 'Microphone' on the right to add an input channel, next change the input from the drop-down from microphone to 'Record'.
Finally select your mixer as sound card.
When you use record now, it will use the sound from the record input instead of directly recording the master output from vdj.
