The crossfader is set thus when set to scratch and when moved 1% the other deck is heard. How do I change it instead to 2% because if the crossfader is not all the way pressed in the other corner I hear the next deck?

So you still want it to be a scratch curve, where it almost instantly goes to 100% on the opposite deck when you move it?
Like it is now, but only a little less aggressive?
You could look into crossfaderCustom. Using that you should be able to almost "draw" your own curve. I've haven't played a lot with it though, but maybe others here have?
You can also search this page for crossfaderCustom. There are a few suggestions for the "draw" formula

Yes when I moved it past 2%.

dj dad, I looked at the link for a custom curve sorry I still don't know how to do this can't find the script . It says "The script needs to be entered into the CrossfaderCustom setting"

Try something like this in the settings:

crossfaderCurve: Custom
crossfaderCustom: 0=[1,0]/0.09=[1,0]/0.1=[1,1]/0.9=[1,1]/0.91=[0,1]/1=[0,1]

I made a small video about custom crossfader curves in VDJ:

I've thought about using the custom curve to cheat a crab scratch, I can do it manually but never got round to trying the cheat method...

I think someone made a physical crossfader that could do it way back (late 90's / early 00's). But it was considered cheating, so it was short lived :)

Anyway, if you want to make a custom crossfader curve that really does that it needs to be way tighter than my example

Maybe something like this (depending on how fast you want to move your hand):
0=[1,0]/0.09=[1,0]/0.10=[1,1]/0.19=[1,1]/0.20=[1,0]/0.29=[1,0]/0.30=[1,1]/0.39=[1,1]/0.40=[1,0]/0.49=[1,0]/0.50=[1,1]/0.59=[1,1]/0.60=[1,0]/0.69=[1,0]/0.70=[1,1]/0.79=[1,1]/0.80=[1,0]/0.89=[1,0]/0.90=[1,1]/0.99=[1,1]/1.00=[0,1]

Some say cheating, others could say 'saves on repetitive strain injury' :-)
