If sound card not plug in then the setting don't show, only the name of the sound card some how the sound card KEEP getting change and new sound cards pop up and change my old one when they been save. ( Mac )

Sound card setting fix this setting when there card you can pick any other sound card other then what plug up.It all ways get redo when using another sound card ,some dj just have 1 or 2 sound card so they just roll with what sound come out without seeing the setting.
