For us DJs who rely on our kit and software as its our living it's never a good when things go wrong.We can protect ourselves with insurances updating kit and keeping tidy our music files and more importantly keeping at least 4 hard drives of back ups of your hard drives, and taking a second Laptop with you already loaded with the same
Saturday evening my system advised Virtual DJ is already loaded however no interface was showing . I contacted Atomix and two suggestions were made which was not from advice dissimilar to what I had received in answer to other questions in the past, reading from script I guess. Frankly I feel the person was not familiar with the problem or realise the urgency of the situation. It took a calI to Microsoft who found an issue with VDJ latest version of which will load and work fine but you could loose the interface but thank you to MS and Windows 10 for there advice. They found a fix to get back the interface and I sent the link to Atomix. Support have not bothered to reply and today is Tuesday in the UK and still nothing from Atomix
As a company Atomix are obliged to support their software and not leave businesses in limbo waiting for replies. It is also obligatory of them to test software against any additional changes made to operating systems should incompatibility occurs between software.
As for other support. You the guys which have made VDJ what it is, volunteering your time and efforts freely over the years and giving us great additions to the software thank you, my criticism is not of you.
As a contingency I will now have to buy other software as its something I didn't insure of having in case of unreliability.

What did you do exactly to fix the problem then?

I'm not sure how this is relevant for VirtualDJ, since VirtualDJ is not currently in the Microsoft Store, and thus was not installed from there.

Yes I agree and the information submitted to you privately on a support ticket . The fix which I applied is part of windows 10 and the fix is with in windows 10 and fix the problem where by uninstalling and installing fresh copises of VDJ did not resolve the issue . Atomix couldn't give clear support on this and offered not further help or contact. In all cases of good customer support someone should had contacted me privately today.
