My main drives become backup drives very quickly. Even prior to doing video I needed more drive space on a regular basis. Since starting to do video my drive capacity is upgraded in a very short time. The last 6 months has been ridiculous since I have download 15,000 music videos from VJ Pro ! I might be out of HDD space again within 6 months. My main drives are obsolete for their purpose within a single year.
If you do not do video then a 1TB SSD would be fine and also not overly expensive when duplicating for a backup system.
It's only the video DJ and his +4TB needs that I think should use HDD for the moment.
In particular new ones like myself who need to build a video library quickly.
I recommend and use both VJ Pro + WeMix. Xtendamix is also good.
VJ Pro is the only one I know that supplies the all important 1080p music videos.
Any recommendations with respect to video music sources are welcome.
I must say thanks to VJ Pro since I now feel like a proper video DJ !

It would be interesting to know how the well established VDJ's work. How many music videos do they have, where do they get them, and how there stored?
