Topic: Pitch slider delay with VDJ and NS6II

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi Everyone

Using VDJ 2020 (5352) and the Numark NS6II and I have two issues.

1. After booting everything up, I have to toggle the headphone split cue button for split cue to be disabled and allow me to hear everything out of L/R on headphones.

2. When I try and adjust the pitch of a song from my controller, VDJ isn't responsive and I sometimes have to wiggle the slider a couple times to get it to respond. You can see how this can be an issue if it's an active playing song.

Thanks!

1. The SPLIT CUE button is assigned as.. setting 'SplitHeadphones' so it controls and saves the SplitHeadphones VDJ setting. If you turn it off and re-open VDJ, does it still shows up as enabled (led on) ? If so, can you check if the setting is set to No and its only the led that is showing false info ?

2. Yes that is the expected behavior when the ControllerTakeoverModePitch setting is enabled (default). This is set so to prevent sudden Tempo changes if for example you pressed SYNC and then try to move the Pitch fader. On the skin, you should see a "ghost"/faded fader, indicating the hardware value and the hardware pitch fader should start working again when the hardware value catches the software value. You could of course change the value of the setting to Instant or Gradual
