Could there be an option in the rightclick context menu in main browser search results / lists etc that takes the current track artist and title and searches against discogs catalog on their website using your default browser? I spend alot of time tagging and editing song info and this would speed my workflow up hugely. Other tagging software has this option.

It's been available in VirtualDJ since forever!
Search the manual for Discogs.
Basically it's in the Tag Editor. At the bottom half in the File Info, there's a dot menu to the right of the filename box.
You can also use it in batch mode by selecting a whole bunch of songs
