Any reason why tracks sometimes load and other times just errors, real pain

IMO it's issues at the Beatport end. I trialled it on my Prime 4 and it was hit & miss as well.

seems ok on Serato and rekordbox so must be an issue with VDJ
 
Which error do you get?
 

This, have played it earlier now ones i have do this, later they may load though
 
Just spoke with a few other users who get the same but only with VDJ
 
Try to clear the Documents\VirtualDJ\Cache\Beatport folder and see if it comes back or not.
It seems that it was caused by a corrupt beatport database with an earlier version of the beatport plugin.

You don't know how to delete the contents of a folder?!
 
Another possibility might be some internet connectivity instability.
 
Ok cleared all that worked for a while then late last night i had the same issue, also getting today, all other VDJ users I know have same issue, those using Serato don't. So this is clearly a VDJ issue not Beatlink or internet issue. In the days of streaming this will be a deal breaker for VDJ, one chap I know will not change because of this very issue.
 
Looking on here this has been an issue for some time, shame in the days of lockdown using sites like this is more important for me, VDJ appear to have ignored the issue looking at other posts.
