Topic: Routing a stem to another Deck

Would it be possible, or is it now possible, to have a stem be routed in real time to a different deck?

Maybe a plugin could do this?

Any thoughts, y'all?

Just clone the deck???
 
can clone deck (instant double) and apply the stem selection you want..
For example vocals on one side, instrumental on other
 
I have thought about that.

And then make sure they start at the same time.
 
works for play, but it's not really "routed"
commands scratch, cues and other pause... won't follow
but everything is scriptable (and scripts are still on the forum)

this allow things effect_stems are unable to do : different effect set depending on stem
 
for instance i set all affected decks to the side of the crossfader i.e? 1 & 3 as left and 2 & 4 as right

then map the play_pause button something like this:
leftcross ? deck all leftcross ? play_pause : : deck all rightcross ? play_pause

testing both right and left because some decks may be unaffected as "thru" and do not have to depend on the action

same apply to other things:
leftcross ? deck all leftcross ? nudge -10ms : : deck all rightcross ? nudge -10ms
