i just paid just now the virtual dj software...now when trying to open the software i keep getting the message" virtual dy already running

check taskmanger see if a vdj process is running, if so kill it

I'm having a similar issue but mine occuras 50-60% of the time when I try to open it. Even at this moment I have it on my Taskbar and have clicked it to open it. Nothing happens however. If I try to open it again it just pops up the prompt "Virtual DJ is already Running" but I am unable to see or access it in any way. I have restarted my computer in past times and that has occasionally helped but not always. SOmetimes after an indeterminate amount of time it will open but not in any way that would be expected of a normal working program

Are you using a PC? For some reason I regularly find multiple copies of VirtualDJ running in Task Manager. It just doesn't seem to like shutting down cleanly.
I'd suggest checking there, because they don't show up any other way.
