I'm looking for a sturdy as in Pins VGA Cable 5 meters who uses what and what's good for the job? Bear in mind this thing gets disconnected and reconnected a lot!

been a while since I had to deal with vga but I don't believe it's hot plug safe, like I said it's been a while but I ran into a few repeated cases of fudged ports from daily hotswapping.

as for where to buy, honestly support a independent store [if they still exist], you'll pay a bit more but you'll have a face to face with someone who knows the tech [don't miss an opportunity to talk to a geek when a geek is what you need] , also easier returns

is this in a road case? I Have bought connectors that make vga to hdmi or vga to cad 6 . Is this in a lap top or desk top?

Does anyone even use VGA these days?

Last time I touched one of those cables was probably a good 10 years ago.

i had to use one hdmi to vga to build a 4 ft by 6 ft touch screen projected to the back as the hdmi got destroyed by someone dropping a light on it.

VGA over CAT 5... cables are cheap and easy to find.
