I'm currently watching Beatport on Twitch demonstrating their Beatport DJ app using a new forthcoming remote sharing tech to allow two DJs in separate locations to play B2B - in this case wirelessly over the 5G network.

I switched off 5G on my phone as it literally drained the battery.

No 5G in my area :-( but the tech also works over fibre, they say.
EDIT: Seems they've done similar before here but the remote stuff in their DJ app is new.

I did ask if the signal was just going via phones or some hi tech broadcast standard box, but didn't get a reply.
I also wondered (but didn't ask) if they would keep this proprietary or release it for others to use, like Ableton's Link system.
