I did and it shut down after about 30 minutes. I reinstalled both VDJ and controller driver/firmware.

Then I guess you have proved that it's not likely to be a VDJ reason - more likely a laptop/OS issue

Nope…. VDJ is the problem. I’m not the only paying customer ($300) who is having the same issue.

You're not exactly giving us an information overload...

Ok if it's VDJ, what build were you running prior to this "problem" update? If that build was working, reinstall it and problem solved - surely, if it's the VDJ software.
