oh im using sidelist for the first time. does that prevent the album art from showing? mean screen estate.

In VirtualDJ Settings->OPTIONS, make sure the coverFlow is not set to No
If not set to No and still dont get it, maybe it's resized to zero, so try to put your mouse above the line that separates File List and Search bat and you ll get the double-arrow mouse pointer to resize

going to do a full re install of vdj. which isnt a big deal. only things i had odd this week were a new nvidia driver set my monitor to 4k. and a new driver. when i set things back to 1140p. little stuff was missing.

yep seems to be fine now. sometimes a re instill will work. i must have closed/pinched some windows and hide the album art.
