I have searched this forum but never found a real solution.
I (as well as other people apparently) get this error for some (not all) songs we try to use from Deezer. Of course, I do have a Deezer Premium acount, otherwise the error would be obvious.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this? It is really annoying...

I don't believe I've ever gotten such an error at any time using it wth VirtualDJ (2+ years). Could you supply some tracks where you see this issue with?

Make sure you are connected to Deezer (I guess the track you're looking for is in some folder), so navigate to "Online music" / "Deezer" and see what you get.

I have seen this error a few times, and i find it happens when you are trying to play a track you have previously loaded from Deezer.
The only rational thing i can think of is the source of the track has come from someone's playlist and has been removed. As if i search for the exact same song once more it will find it and load it just fine.
I never came across the issue when i trailed Tidal, only Deezer. So now if i ever get the message, i simply delete the track from my playlist and search for it once more and that normally fixes it.

That corresponds indeed to my findings. Possibly the track is deleted on Deezer. I handle this as you do, however it is annoying as my cuepoints etc are gone then.
So, next question: is there a way to "copy" cuepoints from one track to another?

If there is a way i haven't find it yet. So yesim setting them again manually.
Thankfully i don't see it that often.

Indeed, it doesn't happen too often... :)
Some button / command to "copy/paste" cuepoints and POIs woulrd be great though. Not as straightforward as different versions of a song might be slightly off timingwise, but still feasable I guess.

The problem with that is when you find out the track is no longer available and you received error for the Premium Deezer Account Needed, that the track doesn't load so copying the cue points at the that time would be impossible. Well thats my experience anyway.
Fortunately i do not rely on Deezer for my music and use it as a get me out of trouble backup. I do however find it especially good for getting client playlists into VDJ. I use an iOS app called FreeYourMusic which i paid for to get the mid level version (removes playlist limitations) and it can convert any playlist into any playlist. So whatever i get sent i can convert into a Deezer playlist, which then can presents itself in VDJ and then i convert that into a virtual folder i create.
I then search through that folder and replace all the tracks which i will in most occasions have in my library already. I'd actually love to have a feature in VDJ where it can scan a whole virtual folder and step through replacing the tracks with results found in your local library. I know you can do this one by one, but have not figured out how to do it for multiple tracks.
Anyway i'll stop waffling now.
