in automix mode, is there a way to make it not repeat tracks?

of course. lots of what you need to know about Automix and its features are covered in the manual, but short answer - click the menu button for the Automix options and take it off of repeat. can also select remove already played and after the software recognizes a track as played then it will remove it from the list.
