I have been testing the early release with support for the XDJ-AZ. 1 of the differences I noticed is that on the XZ I could adjust what I wanted to see on the display of the jogs. On the AZ I don't have the option to show info like BPM and time. Is this due to the AZ or is this that will come into the next software update? Another thing I noticed is the volume output of the sampler is much lower. Is this something I need to adjust for the AZ?

Yes, AZ firmware is different and the only info visible on JOG screens is track cover, and PAD info.
Also PAD info is even more limited in PC control mode.

Takes a bit to get used to as that is in my system to look at the jog screens as that is the most logical place when you load a track. hopefully they update this with the next firmware.
Any idea what happened to the volume on the sample banks? Works perfect with any other hardware and not sure if this due to a vdj software update or that this is related to the AZ

For Sampler it's true that we have tweaked it's volume, but the difference should not be one that justifies claims as " having much lower volume" as the change is merely 3db
Anyway, check again with the next software update as we removed this tweak.

I use it to trigger my artists video shoutouts and they are all set to a specific volume and finetuned per sample. 3db lower when triggered over a beat is very noticeable. The next software update is that with the regular or early release?

Maybe consider using LoudMax VST on the sampler output, to even out levels (& add boost if required).

That was an excellent suggestion, never would have thought of that and it works perfectly. This saves me finetuning the volumes on all these individual shoutout samples. Thanks appreciated <3
