As is well known, light shows can be controlled by songs.
The Software “sweetlight” e.g. has a VDJ connection mode, which works fine for me.
But writing hundreds of commands in action cues is a lot of work. Problematic if there are already other actions there.
Would love to have Pads that monitor the song position and if a specific cue is reached it sends a signal to sweet light. (most of my songs have cue1-8 for sections verse, chorus, bridge…)
Would be possible a new script variable?
which works in Pads/controllers/skins?
(locked for actioncues to avoid bugs and confusion)
And maybe
If so, all the fills, drops and scenes connected to existing cues can be transformed into a different mood with a different preset button, without having to rewrite the cues each time.

on_cue 3 -8beatsso we could e.g. start a FILL-IN that leads gently in a new light-scene some beats before the cue.
