I've done it before. But I can't seem to put anything else in the mapping for a sample pad on my Numark MixTrack Pro II.
It seems to always want to trigger samples and nothing else. This wasn't the case on my old Intel High Sierra MacBook. But if I even assign 'nothing' to SAMPLER_1 just as a proof-of-concept test, it will still play a sampler.
I am picking up Virtual DJ for the first time in 3 years. So I might be doing it wrong.
