This could be user error but, when updating the BPM in the sample editor, the updated value is not saved. For example, when trying to double the time of a sample, I update the BPM from 126 to 252. That should, as I understand the sampler to work, cause the sample to play at twice the recorded speed.
However, when saving the sample, the BPM resets to its default value, in this case 126.
