Topic: Hot Cues per List?
Hello! I have an oddly specific question. I primarily use VirtualDJ as a export machine, while i practice and make sets at home. I have a Traktor S4 MK2 at home but play on Pioneer CDJs of all types when I perform, which I don't really know which type. It can go from 850s to 3000s, so my range of hot cues are limited and I try to keep it.

When I make sets I often end up changing the hot cues around for whatever songs I'm mixing, and sometimes I reuse tracks and change the hot cues again.

Because of this, I thought of something that is likely not a thing but I figured I'd ask.

Would assigning hot cues on a song per list be possible? Example being Set 1 from a while back would have completely separate hot cues than Set 2. My shot in the dark is I'd maybe have to duplicate and reimport it, but it'd be very nice if I didn't have to!

No, it's not possible.

And TBH it's quite niche of a usage case.
 
Believe it could be done, if you use VDJ at your gigs as well, (and not just for exporting).

There is not much one cannot do with the amazing flexibility and scripting of VDJ, its all the other DJ softwares that will not allow it.
 
This might be a good case for extending CDJ Export to consider vdjedit file metadata as well if not already done (if I'm not mistaken, vdjedit files can have hotcue updates independent of the source track after making them).
