..I'm not at all sure about this one but when the PC is really stressed I guess that the TimeStretch-option might cause extra CPU-usage so try mixing the oldschool-way
(the sound will change in pitch accordingly to the pitch-changes but it will not be a problem if you choose songs with similar BPM)
