Hi,
For all the laptop users, this works great! Just upgraded to the full version of Atomix.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro with the built in ALi Sound card and bought the USB SoundBox (no mike support, but full digital sound through an optical cable! :) from AV Toolbox (www.avtoolbox.com) for $40.

My USB sound is set as Sound card 1 in Atomix and the ALi sound card is set as sound card 2. The settings are 2 cards and speakers and headphones in Atomix. Plugged in my headphones into the headphone jack on the laptop and voila! it works right away, now I can listen to the second track on my headphones before goes out!

I've hooked up the digital out from the USB SoundBox to my Denon 3801, and man I can tell you this, the sound is crystal clear, crisp and amazing!!

Hope this helps others!

I'm ready to rock! throwing a big party for New Years Eve!!

Demo version user and PLF works?

kaggar, modify you profile please and insert your personal serial number

something funky going on here, I did put in my serial number and it tells me I'm a full version user...strange....

The PLF option only allows you to listen to one player at a time even if you have two sound cards. How can you hear both players at the same time on the headphone mix to allow for better mixing without going throught the mains?

Well thats gotta be the record for pulling up the oldest thread in history, and it's pfl not plf.

I would suggest you read the set up guides for sound at my documents/virtualdj and also the easy set up guide.

Thanks for the info MP3jrick. I will give that a shot tonight. I didn't realize that the quick start actaully went into the set up more than the manuel.
