Crashing is a very general term, could you be a bit more specific please.
What actualy happens when you excecute virtualdj, is there any error displayed, is it not responding, do you see the splash screen, does the main screen appear, etc.

Thats just it, nothing happenes, when i click on the vdj icon it goes to the hourgalss for like a mili-seccond then nothing, no error, no splash screen, no main screen, I checked to see if the process was started but just hung, nope nothing, I even tried a fresh install of 3.2 then used the 3.3 upgrade ( i don't have the full install for 3.3) and still the same problem...

Does the 3.2 ver run fine before the upgrade?

It seems to be the debugger detector included in vdj v3.3: apparently it doesn't work well. Sorry for that, it will be sure corrected by the dev team

If you are having trouble with this type of problem you can request a roll back to 3.2 by contacting eservice.
It is not a widespread problem and if you wish to check the differences look at history by clicking produces, software, virtualdj, history.

Perhaps the support team could help Schium with a full version 3.3 instead of the update.

Tried the full 3.3. It did not work either. Go back to 3.2 for the time being, it works for me.

Did a gig with 3.3 no problems at all.
Did a gig the following week, 3.3 crashed 3 or 4 times before I gave up and went back to Final Scratch on the other laptop.
When I got home I tried to run it again to see if I could figure out what was wrong and all I got was:
"virtualdj.exe has encountered problem & must close."
So I uninstalled it all, and put back the original version. When I tried to upgrade again back to 3.3 I get the above message. So at the minute I'm working off the old version and havn't been able to use 3.3 but found this information on the forum from AlbertoCastillo which might help:
Uninstall VDJ, delete the folder where you installed it completely
Go to start menu, click on RUN, then type "regedit" without cuotes, go to
HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/VirtualDJ and delete VirtualDJ
Then go to
HKEY_Current_User/Software/VirtualDJ and delete VirtualDJ
Then go to C:/WIndows/Fonts and delete vdj.ttf (also called VIrtualDJ)
Restart your computer
Then reinstall the program
