Topic: Onscreen Track Display Delayed in XP but not 98...

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hello, sorry been along time since i've posted here...

I cannot get Atomix MP3 or VDJ working on Windows XP. I have never seen either run smoothly on it. This is on frankencomputers that are always gettings new parts and upgrades, however the system abilities are always capable.

On the flip side, I see them running just fine in Windows 98 installed on the same various hardware setups. Only problem with that is well, 98 is very dated and now some hardware coming out cannot function on 98.

The problem with both Atomix MP3 and VDJ is the visual display showing both tracks in yellow/orange. It lags behind maybe 10 - 30 seconds, an inconsistence as somtimes it catches up before falling behind again.

I avoided XP in the past because of this problem, and now i'm not able to use decent soundcards with 98.

I really don't know how this problem could be due to computer specs as i've seen it run smooth and otherwise on an AMD 550mhz / 256ram or a P42.5mhz / 1gig DDR.

I have tried searching this one up but the info I find is regarding video mixing/playback on VDJ which i'm not doing. This is just for the onscreen interface of both atomix and vdj.

Thanks and sorry for the long read.

If you have purchased atomixmp3 or VDJ don't forget to put your serial number in your profile, for more help.

Atomixmp3 should run fine on your computer, unless you are using a cracked version that has more bugs that capable functions.
In VDJ in the settings, depending on which version you are using, you can change the reactivity of the program in Config -> General TAB. But again, if you are using a cracked version it's normal you have bugs.

Hi, I purchased AtomixMP3 2.3 and have never seen the main page update after VDJ was announced. That is the version I use and have used since.

A friend of mine bought the Hercules DJ Console last year and i've been very intrested in VDJ now. I have used VDJ in tandem with the Hercules DJ console and I want to purchase the new one for myself.

Regardless, I still want to use Atomix Mp3. It has the bare essentials and with 3 plugins i've downloaded as a registered member in the past, has been my favorite DJ software more than a pleasure to master.

My main goal is to have Atomix Mp3 run smooth in XP because I have used it for years in 98 due to it never fully functioning in XP. I could do to rid msyelf of ever installing 98 dual booting with XP. Atomix MP3 is the only reason I do so.

It's not bootlegged, the installation downloaded from atomixmp3.com and the serial purchased on-line by me.

No matter how well or how crappy a computer I run 98 and Atomix on, it runs golden. Only failures I think due to memory.

I just want it running smooth on XP so I can see what the tracks are doing. For years, I have worked around it but now I have a soundcard, and it is not supported in 98 so now i'd like to try and make Atomix work in XP.

I do know the cracked versions do not work with 2 sound-cards. I do not have that problem.

Still trying to solve this.

I cannot find a way to change Atomix mp3 reactivity and have had no luck.

recent attempts with no result:

- atomixmp3 priority
- cup priority
- BIOS agp settings
- hardware troubleshooting settings
- clean xp install
- alternative hardware profiles
- reduced system services

I am not sure I understand your problem, but let me offer you this. The registered version of these softwares works fine for thousands of XP users. So it is not XP. It may be a language problem, but have you tried to register your software?

I purchased my Atomix MP3 Key on-line.

I don't see how else I can register it nor how that will make a difference.

Only other thing I found are people with the same problem that I have but no real soultion.

Sorry if i'm making no sense.

At the top of Atomix MP3 the two tracks are presented as waveforms. They lag under win XP and run great on 98. What can I do to make them not lag under XP.
