What I run Virtual DJ 3.2 off:

Laptop Specs:
Model: Fujitsu Siemens AMILO D
Processor: Intel Pentium IV- 3.06 GHz
RAM: 2Gig
Hard Drive: 40Gig
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon 9000
OS: Windows XP Pro. SP2

Does crash from time to time. Or the video freezes up. But usually audio will keep on playing until the video catches up again.

You can't do a real video mix with laptop. The best is to use desktop computer.

Well This was already in other posts...

The best notebook for VDJ Video must have:

1.- Pentium 4 3.0 GHz or better (actually a few get these, like HP Pavilion 8350) or Dual-Core Notebook with 1.8GHz or better.

2.- Memory DDR2 533MHz or better. With 1GB or more.

3.- Fast Video Card, N-Vidia 6600GT or better with 128MB DDR3. Avoid 7300 or 7400. 6800 or 7800 are better. ATI X1400 and above are a very good option.

4.- Fast Hard Disk, it's better to get a 40GB HD at 7200RPM or a SATA HD than a IDE 100GB 4200 RPM HD. You can always use an external HD to have in there all your music and Videos.

And also have to optimize your system to get the best of it. In Video "faster" it's the better!.

Good Luck!

Intel Duo Processor T2300 1.66 GHz (FSB:667MHz) 2MB L2 Cache
2048MB DDRII RAM, 100GB HD (5400rpm S-ATA)
