Hey folks...;o)
Just wondering if someone can help me. I've just started on Naptser To Go and note that I can't play my Napster downloads on 3.1, which is what I use, but I can on 3.4. Is there anyway I can put the same extension onto 3.1 to play my Napster tracks on 3.1???
I don't want to go to 3.4 just now cos I've noticed some response issues (purely related to my pc) but I don't want to not be able to play my new downloads.
Can anyone help???
Cheers...and keep spinnin'...:o)

I think that without upgrading to 3.4 your only option would be to open napster up in a separate window and play them from there, burn and rip them all back in, or wait until 4.0

now you got me curious.. I just cancelled Napster.. they would not let you burn them unless you paid an extra 99 cents each.. so why should I play the 9.95 month.. I thought I could use them but didnt' think so .. so I'm just buying them at the 99 ... is there a better way... are you saying with 3.4 if I pay my 9.95 month I can play those songs... in Virtual DJ 3.4

Well, check this!
I've been on the Napster message boards and found the following out:
* It's £9.95/£14.95 per month for unlimited downloads
* If you want to burn the tracks to cd, you have to PAY an additional download fee (like 0.70 - whatever it is)
* Unlimited downloads can be played on your pc/mp3 player (compatible mp3 player only - recommended by Napster) for as long as you have a membership
* This for me is a belter!!! Apparently songs are taken 'off' the Napster database. And, seeing as you don't technically 'own' them if you don't purchase them quick smart, if you have downloaded a track and they remove it, it won't play on your system, even if you still have it there...where's the use in that!?!?!?
Already I'm thinking about cancelling my trial version...:o(

Is there anyway 3.1 can be made to recognise tracks downloaded from Napster? Is it an extension add on or is it actually something in the programming of 3.4 itself???

It's in the programm itself.
So no, 3.1 can't be made to support tracks from Napster.
