if i run an amp in bridged mode which outputs at 1090watts and plug it into a chain of two speakers (in and out of the first speaker ending the chain into the second speaker), then will each speaker be getting 545 watts?

or will my first speaker just blow because its getting all 1090

thanks for the help!

thats corect but you should be careful as when running an amplifier bridged there is more strain on it. Running a pair of cabs in series will double the resistance and most amps cannot do this in briged mode.

Think of bridged mode this way, doubles the resistance of your speakers. They will be given more power but your amp will find it harder to drive.

If you have 2 8Ohm cabs in series you will get a loading of 16Ohms, way too much, most amps only deal with 4 Ohms bridged 8Ohms max so concider running the speakers in parallele.
