Hi I do experience the same, on my "powerfull" machines, rather than the laptop.
P4 @3.4Ghz 2GB Ram + 3Gb Swap
I've already posted on the software support forum at http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/53145/Software_Technical_Support/A_few_bugs__Random_Nudge__Track_Corruption.html
Thanks

i remember my vdj used to do that, if you let the song run out by itself and go to stoped mode or whatever you call it, everything would freeze up and then come back in a sec or 2

My vdj is jumping beats on my new laptop, it does not do this on my older less powerful one...what the hell is causing this and how is it fixed??? I am very dissapointed as this nearly ruined my last gig.....

Are the temperatures of your new laptop normal? ~50°C ?

the problem with the end of track skipping is not depenant on temperature
