The computer i was using to run Virtual DJ recently became deceased. I have now reloaded Virtual Dj and the gigaport drivers on the new pc, however am having issues loading the DAC-2 Drivers. Unfortunately i cannot find the original disc when i purchased the unit. So i have gone to PCDJ's web site to download the drivers. I then unzipped the file and have double clicked the only icon that seemed to be an application. I then connected the DAC-2 through a USB port (both displays lit up with - - - - -)
I then loaded Virtual DJ however it does not seem to recognize the DAC 2.
Please help. I am working tonight and need this situation resolved.
Thanks

1st, no drivers for the gigaport are needed.
Make sure you follow the pcdj install proceedure exactly plugging and un plugging when they tell you to.
Then download the mapper by dj Daniels and save it to the virtual dj folder at c:\program files virtual dj.
Right click on the file and unzip to HERE, or extract to here.
Then go to config and enable the dac.
If it doesn't see the com port, go to control panel, system, device manager and see what port it's on.
Then assign it in the config part of vdj.
Restart the program and it should be working fine.
Good luck, and stay calm
