I think it would be proper bo if we could have a dedicated timecode forum so that people can raise time code debates and share timecode related info etc in one place. A video forum, a karaoke forum etc etc would be good for people that are interested in those specific aspects to get all the relavant info/discusion in one place.
Having dedicated places for specific aspects of VDJ will help everyone get more of what they are looking for from the website.

I think a strong FAQ Sticky should solve the problem of repeat questions, then you have software forum, Hardware forum or the general forum to report specific issues you have. Much of the issues/problems people have here is because they've not read up on something fully before getting it to work, or the statements about settings and specifications for certain tasks have not yet been made. I don't think it would be too much hard work to compile such a FAQ thread.

just to make it clear, im not talking about a forum for raising specific types of problem! im talking about a place where everything timecode is in one place. So if i ask a timecode qustion or have something to say about timecode etc then i say it in the timecode forum and 2 things happen.
A) the ppl that come to the timecode forum are going to be people that are more likely to have an oppinion (they use timceode too probably) and they are more likeley to be able to relate to the things being talked about.
B) the other forums dont get filled so much because specialised subjects get their own platform for discussion, a 'forum' almost ;)
once again im not talking just about a Timecode Support Forum
