Hi dj in Norway

I think it was definitely or probably mentioned in that, because it is really a seminal piece of scratch history. But, the record was on the airwaves way before that.

just taking a wild guess;)
I've heard the a-a-aaa--all this scratching is making me itch scratch sample all over the place...

But the original artist?hmmm.. ;) hard one

The winner can buy the Kylie t-shirt :

Hehe

But the original sample is from ‘Duck Rock’ – Malcolm McLaren and the World Famous Supreme Team (1982). Track name is BUFFALO GALS (Sound sample) - Same song also influenced Eminem "round the outside" sample ;) take a listen

Wooohoo ;) I'm the winner... lol

Hi

Sorry, No, it was me when I got Chicken Pox when I was a kid :)

But seriously, some people are so clever they deserve all the beer they can drink.

Well done DJ in Norway!!

I'll meet you in one of my favourite pubs whenever you're ready. This offer only stands for the next 10 years though.

There's a virtual drink of English Beer behind the bar for you if you get there before me.

Uhh. I didn't see the correct answer posted. It was originally recorded from The World Famous Supreme Team Radio Show on WHBI. It's on Malcolm McLaren's album Duck Rock. It's also on "Buffalo Gals, Back To Skool" which is certainly easier to get your hands on than the original Duck Rock (but fairly lame too).

Is that not the correct answer?

Whoops. I just saw the answer. Anyway, that was a piece of cake, especially since I remember when it came out and I still play the record to this day.

Hi Anewsome

Yes, I remember it sooooo well too. Must be my age. )));-)

(smiley with wrinkley forehead ) which I don't have!!!!

I had a guy telling me on a train a few weeks ago that people over a certain age shouldn't go in clubs or play music. I had to tell him that it was us who created the scene that they enjoy now.
