I am probably doing something wrong, but I cannot find a user manual for the program so this is what I have done sofar and the result :

- I start ripvinyl.exe
- in Config I choose an audiosource
- then I setup the necessary faders
- I sign some boxes
- give a bitrate from 160
- with the knob [...] I write "lame_enc.dll" as the mp3 encoder
- I try to REC
- stop recording with SAVE
- fill in a filename Enter and then I get an Errormessage : Impossible to save "c: etc...

Where am I going wrong ?

to less harddriver memory
 
Free up some space , run a disc clean ect.
 
The odd thing is that I can record audio in the full program of VDJ 3.4 also with other audio software for example soundforge 8.0 works fine.

I have enough space on my HD and also in RAM but how can I assign more memory to the ripvinyl.exe ?,
 
Alt Control Delete - task manager

go to processes and then go to ripvynal.exe and select high priority.

I'm having the same problem, a followed the steps above but i still get the error message.
Can somebody help me?

Are you using the trial version or the complete version ?
