there is a 15% degradation of same ripped file when played on VDJ VS all regular DVD players like PowerDVD. This is on every file I have and others say the same -, its very frustrating to loose this quality, I'm a pro Video Jockey and want the best quality. ideas ?

VDJ is not a solely dedicated video player like those applications. It's internal video engine is at a more than fair quality for using it's own internal engine along with all the other features it provides, however one question - have you tried changing the decoder from Video Decoder to the Windows Media Video Decoder?
How to...
Go into the Config, click on the Codecs tab, highlight by clicking the extension (avi, mpg, etc) that is most common to your vid files, click on the Change button and from the new box choose the drop-down menu - select Windows Media Video Decoder then click OK, OK, OK.
Load a video and play... is there a difference?

4.0 seems a lot better - do you agree, has this been fixed or am I imagining it
