I've used the vinyl with my turntables and everything works fine. When I try to hook up my Numark CDX it wont ever get above 0%. Sometimes it controls it but never gets above 0. Anybody know any tricks or anything that need to be done? I've read the previous blog about CDXs and hooking it up but that didnt help. The waveform looks fine but never goes over 0. Thanks to anyone who can help.

It probably play too loud
Try lower gain on soundcard.
And CDX... make sure its connected without software pre-amp for phono-ins.

I attempted to lower the gain and it did not help. It is also connected without the preamp.
