it's on norwegian.. maybe you can translate it with babelfish or something...

It is possible to do like this with VDJ and touch sensitive screen. You can even scratch ;)

Scratching will become quite hard, while only the touch screen latency is about 20-30 ms. Then you have to add the dj software latency, os latency and soundcard latency. I have a touch screen and tried it once. It is simply too slow.

But do you use the touchscreen to control VDJ?? And does it work for the basic controls??
 
I tried it for the basic controls. You can't use the normal skins, while the buttons are too small. You have to create a special touch screen skin. I did that. It worked quite well, especially for a normal "wedding" gig without mixing. Mixing becomes a little harder, scratching is simply too hard.
Im not using this touch screen for VDJ. I use it with Sunlite to control the lightshow.

Looks just like a display set up at a trade show. We did the same thing only we used 10 plasmas instead of one. Take a look

That software sucks, surprized pioneer even put their name on it.

well... I don't like the skin they are using... but I don't know anything about the software...

Dedicated touchscreen device that can track multiple touchpoints at once (regular touchscreens can't)
Costs way to much for me to consider, but would be very nice to have.
 
I took my daughter to the zoo the other day, and thats what they had 50" plasmas with touchscreen kits
nededless to say I wanted to take one home , but I didnt wear a big enough jacket :(
