Hi, i have a big Problem with Vdj 4,1 and BCD 2000 Behringer...
when i try to charge a mp3 file in vdj deck, Vdj is freezing or freezing in a few second after the start a deck..this problem( i'm sure ) is generated when i charge files that come from another hdisk on my pc.
If i put many mp3s file in vdj from the same hd of the os. and vdj program there is no problem and Vdj work 100% with this behringer console.
when use a Mk2 this strange problem is not present..mk2 work with all file come from many hd in my pc without freezing.
This prob with a bcd console it's repetitive.

Is the second hard drive a external one?
 
max 25 sec worked than stoped
i am gonna loose my mind

Have a look at you IRQ setting and make sure that the 2 dont share and IRQ
 
in performance-tab. make sure you uncheck 'overclock' it helped for me... i also have a bcd2000, same problem.
 
I had same problem... deactivating wifi solved it.
BCD looks gorgeus and more pro than mk2 but i've been playing last 2 years with Hercules and i had not such problems as with bcd, a pity
 
 
No way...still freezes, mp3 freezes, videos even more...(powerfull tool for a pro dj nowadays to offer video-deejing event, i allways wil thank VDJ to be the first on this). freez and crash are bad to happen when you are live at the club FULL of people....its a shame that for now BCD seems not to be fully compatible with VDJ. Of course its a matter of Behringer team work on it, specially theyr drivers.
I wrote to them....lets see the answer
Please, please, please...have a deal to work on it Behringer Team and VDj Team.
for now and after this awful experience...i'm back to my old MK2 on VDJ 3.4... let's wait for developement (if i could write code....)
 
There is conflict with some motherboards, perhaps yours is one of them.
 
I'm using Sony Vaio FE11S Laptop
 
Most laptops have that problem, check if your irq is not shared and use 2.0 usb port.
 
how can i check about irq?
 


And disable Lan and WiFI (that often uses the usb in laptops)
