how do you solve this problem, I've lost all my settings that took me months to write such as comments and song catigorising, help!

Search the forum before asking, it is a common problem. You don't have a backup? So you will learn the hard way, you should always have at least 3 copies of your database. To solve your problem, remove (but don't delete!) your "VirtualDj database.xml" from your vdj folder and it will create a new one. Try to PM Dj Cel or Dj Cyder, they can help you fix your old database. And from now on, backup :)
