as the above link shows their current media assets have been bought from them
which means that the software will now be made by digital one
so there may be pcdj in the future but not as we know it
either way their products will still be pony
like their radio station which is steamed on a basic 10 listener live 365 package at 56kbs
lol
unlike vdj radio 96kbs - 520 listener slots
what was a good gigle aslo is
that their website now says
"we are the leading provider of sound technology in the world"
i dont think so!

There are plenty of good things to pick on PCDJ about, but so far this isn't one of them.
I think it will be a while before the fallout from the buyout settles down.

the thing even says that they have bought them out but they will continue under the name PCDJ
this wont change much i dont think. one thing it is showing is that there is a good market out there for digital music progs

PCDJ has been moving in a downward direction after FX was released. In fact, there are numerous former FX users here. Maybe the acquisition by Digital 1 Media will stop its fall. However, the company has fallen so far behind its competition that I don’t think the acquisition will help PCDJ ascend to where it was once upon a time ago.

Agreed, they haven't released a stable version since Red... (not VRM!)

So true…. The original Red was rock solid software. Many former Red users (including me) asked for master tempo to be added to it along with a few plug-ins. However, Visio decided to go in a different direction. Unfortunately for Visio and its former users, that direction was downward. Hopefully the acquisition will help reestablish some creditability to name PCDJ.
