Topic: Hercules MK2 and VDJ Trial - Sound Setup Problem

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hello All, I downloaded the trial version of vdj ver 4.1r2 to see how i would feel connecting to a 3 channel mixer. I came across this problem:

I selected in Sound Setup

Outputs: 3 lines mixer
Sound Cards: Hercules dj console and sb live bit external

The thing is that vdj will play always the output number 2 in MK2 very low, I mean you almost can not listen to what is playing in that channel. No matter if I select desk A,B or samplers, output 2 will always be very low.

If I select creative live, both channels work ok.

I believe it is that vdj is assingning a wrong channel to hercules (eg. back instead of center)

Is there a way to make this work? tnx in advance

The volume in windows cp for that card is set around 95 %.

If I select speaker & headphones - 4.1 card - mk2 in sound setup, everything works great. The problem starts when I select 3 line mixer.

yes, I enabled external mixer in hercules cp, I have checked after starting vdj that it doesnt reset the settings. I also tried without external mixer enabled, but it didnt have any effect.

btw, thank you for trying to help me :-)
