I worked a Fat Tuesday Party last night...Things were going very well up until about 1 1/2 hours left to go. This is when the place kinda cleared out ( Damn jobs ). Well, there were group of 5 or 6 six people that consistanly came up to the booth for request.
When things were shutting down. One of the ladies came up to me and gave me a FAT tip and ask for my business card because she was getting married in June. She said that she was firing her current DJ because of how fast I put her / friends request on and did a nice mix of the music as well ( techno, house, old school, even country ).
We talked and it turns out that she is moving to Chicago after the wedding but she is going to visit there first in a couple of weeks... She wants to hang out at some good Chicago night clubs... ( country, hip hop, dance )
any recommendation out there.
PS. I mixed well with Tractor but since switching, My pockets have gotten fatter, and my club owner has noticed more of a following in the last couple of months.
