A buddy of mine wanted to try out VDJ so i set up the gear to let him have a go at it. I dont like to use vdj at my gigs ( just my 2 decks and mixer & tones of cds, old fashioned i know ) since i dont use it at gigs i never noticed that when you click to set beatmatch then press play the new song slides back a beat, you have to get it right on or slightly ahead in order for it to stay on beat, when you play the song slightly ahead you har the slide when the program tries to beatmatch.
Not only that, when you play a song with a bpm of 160 and try to play one of 80 the slower one slides forward and matches again and it does this for the whole song, you have to disable beatmatch for them to stay on track. I figure its my settings, what should i look out for?

The best way round this is to disable beatlock and use sync and pitch bend. As you are obviously capable of mixing, this should be more of a normal method for you, lol

1st - Mods can you please block the account of crazyfuck.
2nd - I realize that im no need of the beatmatching, however i do remember that it was not like this before, im pretty sure my settings are off but i cant figure out where. Anyone have an idea?

Something else i noticed, even though it seems like nobody gives a %&#@ and its frustrating the %&#@ out of me!
When i play a sample the song skips, do i need more ram? (have 256) i have added nothing to my computer, no software, no hardware, and all my music is on an external HD, cpu usage is 21% i have also defraged and cleaned up the HD. c'mon guys pls point the way before i lose it completely.

try this on proformance fastest , autolatency and untick safemode and overclock :)

However it worked great for about 10 minutes, then i got the wonderful options of recovering or shuting down.

Ok lets start with this question. What causes computers to run slower? I have not installed new software on it, all my music is in an external HD, it says computer usage is at 21%. any idea guys?
