if you are using an external mixer the software crossfader should be in the middle at all times and you should be using the pfl on the mixer itself

Look if you are using an external mixer - DISABLE the CROSSFADER in the the Options tab. Problem solved.
Oh, then for all you MIDI mixer users - link the crossfader in the Video tab and now you control the video crossfade when you move your mixer fader.

i understand that but when you link the crosfader to video it does not allow you to monitor the opisite deck

assign the midi of the mixers xfader to the video xfade (NOT the audio xfade) and leave VDJs audio fader in the middle (assuming you want to use the mixers fader for video fading!)
i have no idea why the fader would start up to one side, do you have your VDJ xfade assigned to any midi?

Hello I've bought your full product 1 year ago, and I find it very good. Maybe in your next update, that you could incorporate in the performance menu, a function to select, which style of music that you are wanting to mix such as like trance, hip hop, drum n bass etc. Maybe some more options for the master tempo settings, maybe a beat zink funtion as well. as I've been mixing now for Year on your software a plug in for all the known, media players such as media monkey and windows media player, as a valued customer it would be brilliant if you couls in corperate these functions as you have with itunes. In options there's a button for auto pitch matcvhing so will a button be available for auto beat mathing ? And how about a middi clock funtion that you can actually set to what u want it to be ? And for last a list of options algorithms so users can choose which algertghms you would like and morph in buttons

It would have been better if you had opened a new thread instead of digging out an old one that is four years old...

A couple of points:
* You need to post any requests in the "Wishes & New Features" forum further down the page.
* Please do not bump 4 year old posts.
* Please do not post the same message multiple times.
* Update release contents and dates are never published.
To address your points:
The performance tab is not related to the style of music, but to settings that control performance functions of VDJ. The style of music being played really has no place in the configuration.
The keylock used to be slightly more configurable but people complained. To be honest there aren't really that many available settings to most engines anyway
Auto beat matching is available (but not recommended personally) in the form of beatlock.
MIDI clock is also already available - there is absolutely no point in setting it manually unless you're also using it as the master tempo as well.
I've no idea what 'beat zinc' is. I've also no idea what you mean be a list of algorithms (unless you mean VDJScript mapping commands which are documented both in the program AND the wiki) and I've no idea what you mean by 'morph in buttons' either.
Feel free to repost your request in the correct section, however I'd be more complete with your descriptions - citing examples where possible.
