Hi, Since updating to Virtual V5 Rev2 on my AJP laptop I seem to have a screen resolution problem. Everytime I start VirtualDJ it displays the screen 'Warning! The skin you are trying to use has a higher resolution than your screen' and shows the startup screen huge in the bottom left corner of display, it then goes on to display the screen normally. However if I try to use the new DAC3 skin it has a fatal error. This happens no matter what skin or resolution I set it too. I have tried reinstalling the video drivers and reverting back to the previous version of Virtual DJ but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Gary

Gary - go ahead and get the error. Choose one of the VirualDJ skins - any one. Then click on the Maximize button. Close VirtualDJ and reopen it.
Do you get the error when you re-open VirtualDJ? If not, go change to the DAC3 skin - do you get the error?

If no to the first error, it's because Windows is getting ahead of the maximize process and changing your desktop to fit the resolution of the skin.
If no to first error, and yes to 2nd then there is glitch in the skin.

i have also a problem ;warning the skin has a higher resouluton than the screen ur using it wull be a gr8 help if gary or anybody help me m using desktop or pc and downloaded the software.and i also dnt knw how to cahnge skinz so plz help me
 
It means you need to use a skin that matches your screens Resolution. Try uses a different skin. Man you pulled up a 3 year old thread, lol! You should also register your software so you can enjoy all that VDJ has to offer.................
