Topic: M4A not working

sorry guys firts time posting, long time visitor. my problem is that none of my original M4A files play with VDj 5rev4 nor did they played with 5rev2 .. just install Itunes with
QuickTime 7.4 directly from apple's website .. all the Codecs are there including the M4A QUICKTIME AUDIO DECODER any clues..
p.s all my M4A files were originally from my Mac wich are stored in a removable devise , and being access from my PC in wich Vdj 5 is install..

Did the files ever work in v4.0 of VirtualDJ? Is "General QuickTime audio decoder" selected for m4a in the "Codecs" tab (Settings)? What error do you get when you right-click the file and select "File Infos" in the center file browser? Do the files work in another player?

they do play with Itunes if the file or song is selected and command to "open with" . yes they did play with the trail version of Vdj 4.x
plus they play when accessing them with my Powerbook running Vdj4.3, its only that my PC wont play them through Vdj5 and the General Quicktime audio decoder is there
....help!!!

sorry but support kinda sux here... check this if you go into the codecs config of vdj5, u select m4a - ??? and hit the "change" button and select general quicktime thingy and u can read em... also hercules steel is the best controller kidz... more than paid for itself... thousands of dollas i made from this combination. all newer versions past vdj 5 ruins performance and playback with hercules... satyin with 5... i dont need 4 decks if it doesnt work with my controllers

Bro this is from 2007, I'm sure hes all sorted by now, lol!! Check the date before posting please. Support is great here to by the way.............
